WCLN is a not-for-profit community association working under auspices of the City of Whittlesea, Victoria. It provides leadership training and capacity building via access to resources for community-based organisations and cultural and ethnic groups. WCLN facilitates intercultural dialogue and integration with mainstream society. 2001-07: Managing Director, DGX-Asia Pacific. Jointly establishing and developing new companies in several countries. 1999-01: Vice President, Direct Container Line/NACA Logistics-FE Asia, stationed in Hong Kong and Singapore. 1992-99: Direct Container Line-Melbourne, held various positions including State Manager. |

Her industry experience spans professional services, consulting, outsourcing, retail and local government. Qualified with a Masters in Business Administration, Paula has lived and worked in over 8 countries. Currently the Executive Manager ? People and Culture in the financial services sector in Australia, Paula has a passion for developing inclusion, tolerance and diversity in organizations. Her recent career achievements have included leading the greenfields functional delivery into the ASEAN and China markets. Her earlier career included public relations, media buying, advertising and IT which provided interesting opportunities such as the reintroduction of IBM to South Africa, the launch of a 5-star game lodge, as well as preparations and troubleshooting for Y2K for the worlds? largest interactive games company in London. A Fellow with AHRI and member of the Golden Key Society, Paula can be found fund-raising for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, volunteering for Lort Smith Animal Hospital, lecturing in HR, or travelling to new and exciting places in her spare time. She currently resides in Melbourne, Australia with her husband Craig, and adopted cat, Chow. |
